The sunset that night was as beautiful as ever. The enormous sun dipped below the mountainous horizon just as Miley Cyrus dunked down onto Robin Thicke at the 2013 VMA's. Birds chirped loudly outside, the sound closely mimicked my old dog choking on a walnut before he died that warm summer evening, poor Sparky... The colors booming from the sunset were so bright and colorful, it reminded me of the blood that flowed from the fish my grandfather had mercilessly gutted on our fishing trip when I was just a young boy. I gripped the bars on the window to lift me a little higher to get a better view, as if I was Mufasa from the Lion King trying to keep from falling down into the canyon and getting trampled by buffalo. I slip down from the window when the scene is over and lay peacefully on my bed, bringing back old memories from when my ancient grandmother was found dead and rotten in her home lying in bed. Who knew you could get such a great view of a sunset right from the bunk bed of your prison cell?

This was for my English 11 class. The objective for this piece was to write something so bad that it almost seemed good.
