August 2022 Fiction Contest: A Shells Curse

A shell so bright from afar in the ocean it caught my attention , I was drawn to like moth to a flame. Grabbing it oh so carefully and opening it in a delicate matter I was immediately struck with light that blinded me .A sudden storm had arrived so fast in a matter of seconds taking away the sun and bringing out the waves and rain. I was immediately Being pulled further and deeper into the water by the waves. Realizing how unusual my legs felt but when I looked down my legs were gone and replaced with a magnificent tail.
