I am writing this to tell you what it is like to host a god

and to find others like me, but I must first tell you who I

am. I am the human host of the god Baal, the god of fertility

and storms. Not only does he reside in me, but I am him, he

is me. He chose me when I was born and I became him and I

look like him now. I didn't learn about who I was until I was

13. It was a stormy night, the lighting lit up my room and

the thunder shook my house, and, most unusually, fell into a

deep sleep. I woke up to a figure at the edge of my bed. He stood there silently, staring at me. All

of the sudden the lighting lit up the room and I saw it's

face, it was me. Somehow I was staring at myself without a

mirror, I was beyond fear and confusion. His mouth opened and

my voice came out. He said to get up so I did. As I rose up

everything started to de-materialize and a new scene started to

replace it. By the time I got up I was in the throne room of

a magnificent golden palace. There was yet another copy of

me, but this one was sitting upon a splendid throne. He was

talking to a man in all black, the first copy of my told me

that the "me" on the throne was named Baal and the man he was

talking to was Mot, the god of death. All of the sudden the

golden doors exploded and two figures stood in the doorway.

One was dressed in all white, had a beard and long hair and

the other finger was dressed in red with horns on his head

and a bow at his side. Baal stood up from his throne and

demanded to know who they were. They said they were sent by their

master, Yahweh. Time quickened and all of the sudden I was

falling from the clouds as Baal. I landed on the ground and

blacked out. I woke up to see all these radiant figures in a

group. The "me" I had talked to had told me that they were

all fallen gods, Roman, Egyptian, Greek, and Chinese, and

that they had all been defeated by the new god. They looked as

if they were plotting something, but before I could eavesdrop

my room materialized around me, I fell onto my bed and I

passed out. I woke drenched in sweat and the storm was still

copy looked and sounded like me. The next night he reappeared

and explained everything to me,"When the gods were cast down

to Earth they grew weak so they had to find human hosts to

keep them from fading out of existence. They seek out a newborn host after their previous one dies and that newborn takes their appearance and some of their powers." I woke up and I realized that, from this point on, my life would be different... Now, this is not the end of my story,it is just the beginning...
