Words
I am sharper than any sword, more lethal than any weapon. I have the power to begin wars and, by my power, they end.
In the hand of the writer, I am persuasion, burning into the mind of the reader. In the voice of a speaker, I am a flaming arrow, cutting into the heart of the hearer.
With weapons you can only subdue a person’s fearful respect. I win their hearts.
Some attempt to silence me. They try to destroy me. They mistreat those who wield me. Many misuse me.
I refuse to be hidden.
I cannot be contained.
I will not be restrained.
