The sound of the bell ringing around everyone’s ear, students knows class start. Just after one second, the playground becomes quiet and empty.
Five minutes pass, teacher is not in class. This is a Chinese class. No one is glad about it because the teacher is really serious, and students feel like never have fun here.
Lassie, the class leader in this class room. She remembers teacher says there is a meeting at this time and this class is a study time. Then Lassie writes “study time” on the board, and tell everyone be quiet. Students know this is the time for a classroom to change into a crowded market, a jungle, even a war. Gossip, food, naughtiness, laughter and something super unusual for enjoying this perfect and relaxing time. After one minute, the classroom is “boiling”. Make a party!
Kenny decides keep silence, so he takes out his comic book and falls into his own world. Sidney is the “chess king” in this classroom, who are playing the game with Dara right now. He makes a bet with Dara for her new book-a popular and new novel. Some students stand around them, trying to guess who will get the novel and watching the game carefully; Cody stands up and open his arm, close his eyes to pretend he is really enjoying to singing: “Beautiful girls, all over the world…” Barney says “boo” to Cody. He doesn't like Cody’s singing.
“Teacher is coming!” Barney shouts. Everyone try to sit back as soon as possible, the classroom being really messy. The whole classroom become really quiet, and there is a silence for a moment. Barney starts laugh, his face becomes red: “ There is nobody coming, haha, that's so funny!” He seems cannot stop laughing.
 “What! You scared us!” Cody throw the notebook to Barney. Students discover there is nothing happen, the whole classroom start enjoying again.
Skylar looks at Cody and Barney. They are hitting  each other for joking. “I don’t care,” Skylar says to himself, “I am going to have a rest.” Skylar takes out his video game, and he just wants to enjoy a nice and relaxing time. But it's not going happen. When he just click “start”, someone takes it: “Can I borrow it for a second!” Then Skylar looks up. A lot of people are trying to take the video game, because they really want to play. Unfortunately, it drops down, and break into two pieces. The silence is a bomb, whole classroom’s time stop.
“Who broke the video game?” Skylar ask.
“It’s him!”  Sidney points at Cody.
“No, not me! It’s him!” Cody points at Barney.
“No!” Barney shouts out loud.
Luis knows who broke it. It’s Tien. Tien sits back, and looking at textbook, try to pretend that’s not his business. Skylar seems his mind is out of here and really upset. Luis stare on Tien for a few second and close his eyes with a worry expression.
Tien, the only person who who will listen Luis’s real thinking, and who knows Luis real side. Luis’s parents always planning his life. Great kindergarden, primary school, and middle school. They want Luis to be a business man, just as great as his father. But he wants to be an architecture designer. He wants to create a dimensional world on a flat paper, and he doesn’t want to follow his father’s step.
It feels like just happened yesterday. One year ago, they sit in the classroom and drink juice together.
“Parents are not always right”, Tien drinks his juice, “You don’t have to listen to them all the time. That’s your life, not theirs. You can tell them. They will try to understand you.”
“What if they won’t let me be what I want to be? My father really hope I can follow him.” Luis said it worryingly.
“They are your parents. The most thing they want is make you happy and have a good life. If they think be a business man will makes you happy, just show them be a designer will makes you happy and your life will be better than be a business man. Do your best. Come on, your father will understand.”
Luis smile, but suddenly he starts worry. Why is he lie to Skylar? That’s not him. I should ask him to telling the truth. When Luis is trying to find Tien, he see Tien is stands with Skylar.
“I did it.” Tien walks to Skylar. “I am really sorry…”
“You did what?” Skylar seems unbelievable, because he knows Tien doesn't play video game.
“So why didn’t you tell Skylar before?” Luis walks up ask Tien.
“Because this video game looks really expensive! I was thinking for a long time. Now I decide to apology.”
Tien looks at Luis, then looks at Skylar. He looks at floor because he doesn’t know where should he really looks at.
“It’s fine, at least you can stand up to tell me…” Skylar smile and looks like he is not really angry, “that video game is really old and it has so many problems…”
“Teacher is really coming!” Barney shouts again. Luis looks though the window, the teacher is walking towards to classroom!
“Clean up!” Cody start move his chair to right place, and find the text book in his backpack. Dara is drinking water, when she heard “clean up”, she almost spit water out. Kenny put all of his comic book into backpack, but it’s a lot of paper, so his backpack become really messy. The classroom looks like come though a storm, but the teacher just come in.
“Kenny, you should turn your text book over.” Teacher points at Kenny’s text book. Kenny’s text book it’s upside down.
Teacher put down her documents. “But, that’s not really important. You guys should be quiet and do your homework! Not playing and chatting! Can’t you see what’s on the board? It’s ‘study time’! Read it out loud…”
“It looks like never end.” Luis whisper in Tien’s ear and think, “At least he stands out to tell Skylar.” Tien looks back at Luis, speaks softly: “Do you want to go buy some juice after school?”
The classroom is being really quite because the teacher is walking around in the classroom. But it seems not really serious now. Because they are had fun on this class.
