Chelsea, a young teenage girl who just found out she was moving due to her father losing his job was packing boxes into the van on that rainy Saturday. She screamed at her mother, “You’re ruining my life.” She was head cheerleader and the richest, most popular girl in town. Meanwhile, Brad who she had not met yet was going on another dreadful date with his “perfect” girlfriend Rachel. Rachel just happened to be just like Chelsea. She ruled everything at her school. Everyone worshiped Rachel, or were they just scared of her?
Chelsea started her new school the following Monday. It was not at all what she had expected. For the next week she was pushed away by all the new people. She was sadly being bullied. She knew she had done this to the other kids back at her school because she thought she was better than them. She started to regret it, she didn’t like the feeling of not being accepted.
Then it got worse. She had just been pushed into Rachel in the cafeteria. Salad dressing went all over Rachel’s black top. Then unexpectedly, Brad rushed over and pushed Rachel away. He ran to Chelsea to see if she was alright. That’s what made Chelsea so frustrated. Chelsea and Brad immediately fell for eachother.
Over the next month they were inseparable. This made Chelsea severely mad. She sent her friends to spy on Chelsea and Brad every little while. Rachel could not stand her at all. She immediately wanted to ruin Chelsea’s life. She began spreading rumors. None of them were true but people still believed all of them. This bothered Chelsea, even though she knew it shouldn’t. She started to be scared of what people would say about her. Rachel tried to get Brad to give up Chelsea. She constantly told Brad Chelsea wasn’t worth it.
“You’re the one that wasn’t worth it”, was always his reply.
Rachel knew the one thing that bothered Chelsea was the reason she had to move. Chelsea didn’t want anyone to know that she had lost everything. One day Rachel took a day off from school to go talk to Chelsea’s mother. She pretended to be one of Chelsea’s worried friends. When Chelsea was invited in she jumped right into the conversation.
“I’m worried about Chelsea, she just seems to be out of it”, said Rachel.
“Well, with the move and her losing her friends and everything else I could understand why”, Chelsea’s mother replied.
Chelsea asked, “What do you mean by everything else?”
Chelsea’s mom hesitated but then said, “Her father did lose her job, I mean Chelsea’s life is no where near the same.”
When Rachel was sitting outside in front of Chelsea’s house she knew she had found the one thing to ruin Chelsea. Chelsea pulled out her phone and sent one text to all her contacts telling everyone Chelsea was a pathetic poor girl and that’s why she had to move. Soon, the text message was sent to almost everyone in the school. People intentionally left Brad out of all of it so he wouldn’t try to stand up for her. Everyone knew Chelsea wouldn’t do anything about it. Chelsea rarely talked and didn’t seem interested in any stupid high school girl drama.
The following day at school when Chelsea entered the hallway everyone seemed to be whispering. Rachel was standing at the end of the hall, one hand on her hip with a smirk on her face.
“We all know your little secret”, said Rachel.
To no ones surprise, Chelsea said nothing. Rachel rolled her eyes and turned her back to continue down the hall.
Chelsea yelled out for her, “Stop!”.
Chelsea, and everyone and the hallway stopped. Everyone was stunned and very curious of what she would say. Chelsea hesitated as she turned to look at everyone in the hallway.
All she said was “Raise your hand if you have ever felt humiliated by anyone in this school.”
Everyone but Rachel raised their hand. Chelsea simply explained that this was because Rachel was was the bully who was humiliating everyone. Rachel declined this saying it was wrong.
“Everyone loves me!” shouted Rachel.
With that the principle came out, leaving with Rachel with him. She got suspended. Her dad tried persuading him out of it with his money. He failed terribly at that plan. Chelsea then became the most popular. Not because of her money this time, but because of her personality. Everyone actually did love her. Everyone at the school tries more to accept everyone, no matter what the differences.

Seeing how people are treated in high school gave me this idea.
