The Outcasts
Hello, my name is Vance and I am not the most popular kid at my school, what I mean by that is I don’t have many friends and nobody knows my name. What I do have is six friends that truly care about eachother. We call ourselves the Ignorant Past crew. because when we are all grown we will have each other and we will never forget our past, and our past isn't going to be the greatest.
My friend Milky came up with an idea. This is in the modern times so there is a lot of hip hop influences out there. Milky’s idea was to start a group with all six of us and we would call the group “Ignorant Past” and so at lunch one day we all just sat at a table making ideas and it was convenient that my friend Graham had a mi in his house. So that day was a wednesday and we planned to go to his house on friday and record all day then spend the night and record saturday.
We were thinking on Thursday, what's next? and I came up with the idea to make shirts, hoodies, tank tops, and sweatshirts. So I was in yearbook class and I was the most artistic out of the guys, so that night I went home and sat down with my labtop and make a design on a shirt that looked outstanding. My friend Chance new a guy who printed out shirts, hoodies, tank tops, and sweatshirts for twelve dollars. The next day me and my friend went to this guy and we got the supply of clothing and he printed them. the order came out to around a hundred dollars. We went to Grahams house the next day and we gave out the clothing and got our money back. Next thing we are recording and having a blast. We even brought a camera to make a music video.
(Three months later) Things were getting pretty big and we sold 19 copies of our album with seven songs on it. People started to but our clothing. We pretty much went viral and now we were on top and maybe even the most popular kids at ---- ------ Middle School.
All of the girls wanted us and the jocks were jealous. We had started small and now we are the biggest youth pop stars in California. Famous people started seeing us and wanting us on Television with talk show hosts. We liked the fame because we were actually somebody for once.
This is a short story of a couple of youths could have a dream come true by spending some of their allowance and taking a risk hoping for the best. These young boys Started recorded with one mic in a bedroom and now they are recording in Los Angeles with the most famous hip hop artist in the nation.
