From your inner self.
I'll stare directly into the sun
but never the mirror"
Think about something that would ever make you feel this way, where you would painfully stare into the sun in the scorching heat but would avoid looking into the mirror. Would it be something you did to someone that makes you feel this way or something someone
did to you.
Or would it be something you did to yourself? Would it be body dysmorphia or a guilt for something? Would it be because you got bad grades or you got acne?, would it be like you try to look in the mirror but you can't ever see yourself again because you don't understand what is making you feel this way?
Did you ruin yourself? You couldn't achieve that one goal? Did that one person leave you? Did you do something? Did someone do something to you? You can't look in
the mirror? Do you need time?
Take it, take that time that you
need, the time you are dying for!
Think about what has happened. Try to understand and reflect your thoughts, look into yourself.
Take time, rest, and try to
become the best version of yourself! Work hard and achieve that goal. Don't hold grudges, evaluate situations, mend that friendship, apologize to that one person, and do your best to forgive and get forgiveness. Rest and truly try to work on yourself.
Believe in yourself, be confident, raise your head and look into that mirror!
From your inner self.

This piece is very close to my heart! I love writing and when I used to think of the teenagers who go through issues with their self esteem, I always felt like I have a responsibility to connect with them as a fellow teenager and a writer. This piece talks about the way you are supposed to hear yourself and understand your inner self. I hope this piece of mine actually helps fellow teenagers to discover their own true inner self.
