An Idiot Is Smart

There was a smart idiot in a town. Everyone in the town was smart and did everything the same except for one person. This person did everything wrong. He slept wrong, ate wrong, slept wrong, etc. Everyone looked down at him laughing or making fun of him. Everyone slept in a bed while he slept on a couch, people at with multiple utensils while he only uses once, etc. He did everything differently and people hated it. They called him an idiot, stupid and dumb. The smart idiot didn’t care what people said he stilled did what he did. As time went on people got more and more curious why he did all these things. Only a few started to try out what he did. At first, these few didn’t like it since it was different from what they are usually doing. But eventually, they started to like to do what he did and understood why he did it.  They realize how more comfortable, easy it was and much more convenient. This little group was soon looked down on too. Some stayed the same and became idiots, while others went back to being smart, not wanting to be mocked. This kept happening more people did idiotic things, but only a few stays. This group kept growing slowly. The older people were the more they didn’t like how the younger people changed.  Eventually, almost everyone did what the idiot did. People who called him dumb or stupid, now calls him a genius and smart. The few people who didn’t change grew old and died off. Everyone there was now stupid and dumb. The town of geniuses was now the town of idiots. Other towns slowly follow the now stupid town. Almost everywhere was now like the place. The original smart idiot was now gone, but since he being different the whole world changed. The everyone is the whole world was now an idiot.

I wrote is because one of my friends suggested a lie for me to write about. I thought it would be fun to write about. I hope people will understand change is not bad and to be flexible.
