Everybody knows about Swift. They always cause trouble: they wreck trucks, ruin trailers, and hit houses and other things that are not moving.
Maybe you don’t know about Swift: it is a big trucking company that claims they are the best. But the only thing they’re best at is hitting things that are not moving. For the most part, everyone has seen a Swift truck driving around their town. You think that you shouldn't be worried, but you should.

Why? It’s this: every time a Swift truck comes driving by, it might destroy a few things like a light pole, a mailbox, a car, or even a store or a house. You should be worried when a big rig truck comes to town. They don't have a regular trailer: they have a 53-foot trailer.

In addition, Swift is a bad company because they take less time training their drivers. They do not take 3 months like they should, because they want more employees on the road. This is because they want Swift to get most of the freight on the road.
Since they don’t train their drivers well, sometimes drivers damage the equipment and are fired. The reason why is that the company wants more money for them to replace their equipment because the drivers keep wrecking the truck or the trailers.
Besides not taking time to train their drivers well, Swift also wants their drivers on the road for too long. They keep them on the road for 3 weeks, then they get to go back home for 2 days or more.
There are some ways Swift can be a good company, but they need to change most of their policies. For example, they need to extend their training time to 3 months instead of 3 weeks.

Sometimes Swift hires some people that have not got behind the wheel of a big rig. I think they should have at least 2 years of driving experience
Even though Swift has a lot of problems, they also have better insurance and most of their drivers get new equipment, but the drivers have to have a good driving record just for them to get into a new truck. Sometimes, there are some owner-operators that work for them, and the company tries to give them a little money, so they will have money for fuel or mandates for the truck. Most of the time, the company will give every driver a fuel card or a card for repairs for the truck, just in case the truck breaks down, but if the person is an owner-operator, they don’t get a fuel card, so they have to pay for their own fuel.


They need to fix that like, they should give them an old truck so to see if they desired a new truck. The next thing is that they should let them have more days off instead of 2 days.

The next thing is that they should stop hiring and see if they still need more people to work if so than they can hire, but if not, they should stick with the people they have. The other thing is that if someone wrecks a new truck, they should try to fix it because they are just throwing money out on a new truck when they can try to fix the wrecked one.


The next thing is that they should try to repair their terminal, because most of the times the drivers might be mad and they might punch a hole in the drywall, and most of the time it does not look nice. So that why they need to fix their thermal. Now the next thing is they should do some repair their concrete they have their because most of the times, when a truck drives on it, the load might be heavy and it will damage the concrete even more than it might have been. Now the last thing they need to do is that they need a new CEO because they need a new leader to run that company Now that company can be better by making all of those changes and they might be a good company. The reason why is that they might have new ideas for that company to make it better. He might have better paying rate for everyone. He can also add more break time for the drivers, or he can give everyone a raze for their good work. Most of the time they wont care.

But this time they should care or not they might have some drivers quit on them. The thing that they need to fix with their employers is that the way they act with other people. The reason why is most of the time the drivers would be mad and they might take it on the shipper. If he does that, the shipper will think that all of swift drivers are like that so they might not help them.


The next thing they need to fix is that they need to look professional and they should wear at least nice close just to look nice. But at the end they should decide if they want to do those changes with their company. But to me again it is the best thing for this company if they want to be better than the rest of the other trucking company. For the longest time they think that they were better than anybody else but they were wrong. They need to do lots of think through just to at least to make the company better for everyone.


If they did those changes than they might be the best. Only time will tell if they want to make the change for that company. But if they don,t try, it might be too late to make a change
