My Big Fight
Growing up with an older sister is hard, trust me I know. You can have good days when you play together or you can have bad days when you lock yourself in the bathroom and cut your sister's favorite barbie dolls hair off. I was always told in the end someone is going to get hurt, I never realized how true that was until this day.
I was walking around the house pestering my sister the whole day. She walked down stairs and I was following her singing as loud as I could, she walked up stairs and I was using her hair as a railing to help me up the stairs. After she walked up stairs I ran back down as fast as I could and grabbed her barbie doll, then ran back up stairs like lightning, opened the bathroom door and locked it. As I sat their with that barbie in my hand I said, “You could use a hair cut”, as grabbed the scissors I heard a big bang, “RILEY give me my barbie” I could tell she was mad, but you can’t stop a hair stylist before he gets started so, I continued. Snip snip snip as I cut this barbies long hair off I yelled out to my sister “don’t worry i’m a professional, she looks great,” as I cut her hair I could tell this was going to be the ugliest barbie ever! Finally when I finished I walked out of the bathroom and gave my sister her bald doll. Then I ran as fast as possible down the stairs and fell on the couch as my sister talcked me like a professional football player, or a really mad sister. First she sat on me and slapped me clear across my face leaving a handprint as red as a tomato. I could feel the pain rushing through my face but I wasn’t giving up, I got out from under her after a few more hits and pushed her into the couch and hit her, we were relentless until, she got up and threw me into the wall knocking one of the biggest pictures in the house onto my head. We both sat in shock for about two minutes when all of the sudden i feel this liquid like gooey liquid on my head, I was bleeding and I didn’t know it. Of course my first thought was to scream and cry and tell my parents it was all Ally’s fault but, they didn’t believe me. In the end we made up and ot grounded.
This really affected both of us it changed the way we see things now. Now we are a lot nicer to each other and we get along with each other. We always talk about that day because it affected us. It did take a while before it affected us though, we fought a lot.
