The eye in the sky
There was an eye in the sky. Watching all of life go by and watching the world evolve. It watched man create fire, and hunt. The eye watched man rome the world and grow. The eye saw them evolve and create things like electricity, buildings, and cars. The eye enjoyed watching the people grow. But the one thing the eye hated seeing was them die. Every day the eye saw a person pass, weather it be of old age, a disease, or being hurt by another. The eye was bothered when people died, it only wanted to see life grow and live. The eye hated seeing wars and other tragedies that evolved man dying. One day, an all out war erupted and all the humans fought. The eye watched in horror as the humans all ended each other and laid waste to their brothers and sisters. The eye began to tear up and it watched all of life slowly die off. The last person walked the Earth and then they dropped and with that, the Earth was silent and all of life was dead. The eye shed a single tear on the planet. And new life arose from it.
