Log 1, the time is 3:50 december 1, 3025 in a city call newport, it has been three months since I have contacted the central base of operations. I am all alone with nothing but my thoughts about my family I can picture the day it all happened like it was just yesterday. The time was 3:50 in the afternoon, it was just another normal day, so we thought. We all got up as we normally do, eat some breakfast and drink some coffee, but today was no ordinary day. We were on our way to the airport to board our plane going to the bahamas for a family trip, we were running as late as usual. The plane was scheduled for take off in 30 minutes and for sure I thought there was no way we were going to make it, the drive there took 40  minutes and we still haven't left. I pray to god every day why couldn’t we have been on time and not have missed that plane. Right as we left the house to begin our trip to the airport, my daughter noticed their was something strange about the way our neighbor was acting, he was acting unusual he was on his knees screaming and his eyes were bloodshot red. We now only had 10 minutes to get to the airport because of all the time we spent watching our neighbor in horror. We were not going to make it, we were going to miss our flight and have to reschedule because we had to call the ambulance and try to help him out. I told my wife Jessica to get the kids into the house well I handle this. When the ambulance got there to assist they knew right off the bat, that this guy wouldn’t make it. They told me that I did the best I could but he was not going to make it. As they drove away with is body in the car I knew that I was not going to be able to live this down. I called the airport and told them that we were not going to make it and we have to reschedule the flight they said okay Mr. johnson, the next flight isn’t till three days from now.

I said okay that would be fine.
Shane my wife called to me, can you come and explain what all that was about. What happened to the neighbor, is he going to be okay, did they tell his family the news.
I replied yes Jessica everthing is going to be alright he is fine and is going to get some medical attention right away. I lied to her and wished I hadn’t for her sake and as well as the children's sake. Kevin, can you come and help your old man with a couple of things.
Yes dad, be there in a minute.
Jessica my lovely wife, I met her in highschool and immediately fell in love with her. We got married June 15, 3000, it was the happiest day of my life so I thought. A couple years later my wife had news that would change my life forever, we were going to have twins. The two kids were so wonderful I loved spending every minute with them and wouldn’t give it up for the world. Just like that the memory faded away and all I could remember now was the fact that family was gone I was alone and the main reason I made it this far was to avenge my family and make sure that the men who did this was going to pay for what he has done to me and so many others. The time is now 6:50 i has been 3 hours later and I am almost to my destination, when I get to the corporation my first objective is to find the boss I am sure that he knows what is happening. I finally got to the corporation and the time now is 10:50. As I entered the building I noticed that doris the receptionist was not their to greet anyone, as I made my way through the empty hall, there was no one in any of the rooms.
“Where is everyone,” I said to myself. The noise echoing through the long empty hallway. I got to bosses office, the door was locked I knocked and “hollered is anyone in their, boss.”
This is Shane one of the employees that was sent on a mission to achieve some data, the coms went down about a month ago and that's when I started to make my way here. The door swung open and voice said to me,
‘Hurry get in here before they come.”
“Who”
“Those things haven't you seen them”
“No I didn't see anything on the way in it was quiet and abandoned.”
“Calm down I need to ask you a question, do you know what is happening and how this virus infected almost the entire world.”
“Yes the virus was developed in the biochemical labs in restricted level F, the viruses use was meant for war as a weapon, that could wipe out almost the entire globe, this would only need to be used if retaliation and rebellion happened against us the united states.”
“So you used a nuclear weapon on a small town.”
“I don't know who released it but all I know is it was a small dose so it wasn’t strong enough to take out more than a city.”
“Is there someone here that is still alive that I can talk to that knows more than you.”
“Yes he is in the restricted level you will need a card that can pass the security, here take mine.”
I went down to the level wearing my hazmat suit and used the ID to get in. It was very dark I couldn’t see anything then something grabbed my ankles saying a faint voice,
“Help me.”
I kicked his hand away in shock and noticed he was the ticket to finding out everything that has happened. He told me that their was a cure that could save the sick, and that the boss framed me for doing it when he was the one who released the virus all along.
“He framed you so he could make a profit off the cure and look like the hero, he killed your family and everyone you ever loved.”
The word he said sent a chill down my spine and made me think why would he do this to me what did he have against me. I wanted more questions from the man but he was too weak to speak. I went back to the bosses office opened the door and he was gone, I heard a noise on the roof, it was helicopter blades he was on the roof ready to escape. I knew I couldn’t let him do that after what I just heard. I rushed to the roof at full speed, he was already getting into the chopper I pulled my gun out and shot, I hit the pilot and he went the chopper burst into flames. I felt a sudden relief when it went down it was all over. The next couple days I spent making the antidote and when I released it I felt good I save millions of lives, but the question that was pondering my mind, why couldn’t I have done this sooner. The lesson shane learned was to never postpone things till later when you could do them now.
