The Story Behind The Door
Every day I walk pass this mysterious creepy dark brown door. This creaking, wooden hulk on rusty hinges, with scrawled graffiti painting its lonely face is always closed and locked. Sometimes I try to unlock the rusty door with my bobby pins that I have to untangle out of my hair. One day I walked pass the door, but I have no need to see if it is closed because it always is. As I walked pass, I thought that I saw a dark black creepy shadow quickly pass by the door. I slowly took five big steps backwards and I saw that the door was open. Unpredictably, I walked in with no fear, all alone.
Creak creak, was the noise that the floor of the weird mysterious dark room made. I had no clue where the light switch was. I stepped on something that felt cold and it was bumpy but smooth at the same time. I pulled my phone out of the back pocket of my dark blue skinny jeans. I saw that the thing that I steeped on was a gold dollar coin. I shined my light on the wall and hit the light switch.
When the light was on and the room was brighter than someone’s beautiful blinding smile. Even though this room was bright, it seemed like nobody has been in here for years. This room was dustier than my attic, and that is really dusty. I saw that the only thing in this room were coins and a door. The gold dollar coins were leading to a gray door that was toward the far back right of the room. I followed the coins while putting each and every one of them in my back pocket the size of my hand. I opened the door which led to another empty room with coins leading to a door. Again I followed them while putting them in my pocket. I opened the next door, hoping that the room will not empty except the coins and a door. I then walked into the room.
Inside the door was a huge staircase. There was nothing other than the dark black nasty dusty stairs in this room. I was afraid to see what the stairs led to. I turned around and gripped my hand on to the black dusty door case. I gave the door handle a twist. Unfortunley, the door handle didn’t even budge. I tried and tried but there was absolutely no way that I was going to get out of her. I thought to myself, “I knew that I shouldn’t have went inside the door, even though I had no fear”. I just sat on the floor thinking what I was going to do.
It was about fifteen minutes later, and I had an outstanding idea. I pulled my phone out of my back pocket and decided that I can call my mom. Unluckily, I had no service in this crazily creepy dark dusty room with nothing but a dark black staircase. I didn’t have any more ideas of what to do. My only good idea turned out to be the opposite of good. I thought to myself that if I climbed up the stairs I would probably be able to get out of this outrageous ominous place. I climbed up each and every dusty stair that felt like no one has been here in forever.
Out of nowhere, I slipped on a chunk of dust. I wasn’t surprised because of how dusty this place is. The dust was soft but weird feeling at the same time. It felt like I was almost to the top of the staircase because I saw a beautiful glowing white color that was also the color of a gorgeous pearl. I wanted to run up the stairs, but I was afraid that I would slip on dust and crack my head open. I finally got to the top and I was amazed.
I walked into this place with my mouth open and it seemed like my jaw was stuck. I had absolutely no idea where I was, but I knew that this wonder of a place was way beyond fascinating. Sooner or later I would find out where I was. I looked above my head and I saw a sign that said, Welcome to Heaven. I was blown away because of how amazing Heaven is. There were angels everywhere I looked. They were singing and they sounded like a professional choir. Heaven was much better than I thought. This was by far the best day in my life. I couldn’t even explain how beautiful this place was.
A couple of hours later, after I explore the beautiful wonderful Heaven, I see a tunnel. I thought that it might lead to another place in heaven so I went inside wondering if I was correct. I found myself to be on a slide that was glowing and making a beautiful noise. Downstream, I see an ending of the slide. Subsequently, I find myself out of the tunnel slide. I was back in the room that I started in. It was weird because I didn’t see this door earlier when I was in here. Anyways, I skipped out of the room with my heart full of joy because of the experience that I had. I ran home waited to tell my family what a magnificent day that I had. Then I realized that no one will believe my so I kept my story to myself. Later that day I went to bed hoping to go to Heaven someday when I’m old.
