facade
I would always go out on Friday and Saturday nights. My mom wanted me to stay home this weekend saying I see him too much. She kept warning me about him, she said she knows hoes graduated guys think especially when they are 21. “Just look at you dad. Where is he?” “”Not here” I whisper softly, but I graduate this year. I can take care of myself, besides nothing every happens, I’m not like that. So when Shawn came to pick me up, I grabbed my jacket, purse with me pepper spray and $75 then yelled at mom I was heading out not to wait up. He said we were going to have some time to ourselves before we met up with our friends. I didn't want to go where we went, and to take me home. He said I was beautiful. I grabbed the closet thing to me and hit him.I jumped out of the moving truck and called mama from where he left me laying on the slide of the road broken and bleeding with 2 dollars in my pockets, my cracked iPhone and an empty can of pepper spray.
