“Okay everyone listen up,” Chiron says getting us into a big circle, “We will split into 2 teams. Ares,Hades,Apollo, Zeus,Aphrodite and Hephaestus on the orange team. The others on the blue.To go over the rules quickly. No killing each other and or seriously hurting another opponent. Got it”
There is about one hundred kids at the camp. But only five kids from one of the three brothers zeus,hades or poseidon. One of them is me,Alex, and the others are jason, Luke, and madison are all children of zeus. The other to Amanda and I are children of hades.We split into our teams and the ares cabin is already signing jobs. They are great at combat so they are in charge. They set us up with partners. Cory, son of Ares put jason and I in the group to scout the area for any potential threats.
Great, I get with the hot headed Zeus kid. Jason takes after his father, short sandy blonde hair with a body thin and muscular but doesn't have abbs like you would expect.I’ve gone up against the kid a few times and he is a tough cookie in combat. He uses a gift from his father, a electric spear or his sword. My weapon is 10 times deadlier than his, it looks like a simple black hair clip with a metal skull on it but when I press the scull it turns into a black sword that is the 3rd powerfull weapon wielded by a demigod at camp. One of the kids from the poseidon cabin, which isn’t a resident anymore, he has the best weapon.
We split into the groups.
“I think I know where they are hiding the flag. Let's go see if we can find them,” Jason saying jogging off to wherever he thinks they are hiding the flag. I have to run to catch up to him.
“Where are you going!” I yell catching up with him.He has this wild grin on his face. I can’t help but smile. He is kinda cute but he is a child of Zeus, Hades and Zeus has always has had a feud going on so i’ve learned to be allies with the zeus cabin, nothing else. Maby i would……..
“Here,” He says finally stopping, “Here's the plan. I’m going to climb the tree while you stand guarding me. Okay?
“Can't you just you know….. fly up there.” I say looking up into the tree that he is trying to scale.
“Yeah, but this way is more fun,” He declared. Before I could stop him he is already climbing the tree. I don’t want to ‘stand guard’ so I follow him up the tree. We were moving to the same beat as each other.One branch by one. We were halfway up the tree when i heard the branch under my feet snap.
“JASON, HELP!” I scream dangling by the branch above my head. He looks down at me wide eyed.
“Hold on I’ll catch you,” He yells down to me. I hear another CRACK. The branch my arms were holding on was starting to break. I pull myself up with one arm then the branch was holding on snaps before me.
“Jason, hurry!”
“I’ll catch you just let go! I’ll catch you! I promise!” He yells to me from the ground. I realize that if I let go, my life is literally in his hands. Before I can think to much I let go. If you haven't been freefalling form up about 20 feet in the air, I wouldnt recomend it.During this time I let out a scream from the feeling of the fall and the feel of the branches against my skin. I only fall full force for about ten feet or so until I start to slow. The wind was slowing me down from my free fall. I didn't understand how or why this was happening but all I knew it was stopping the fall. About a foot from the ground i stop completely. I straighten into standing position and then I fall to the ground and land on my feet. Jason collapses on the ground right next to my feet.
“Jason,Jason!” I cry out from the emotions that are jumbled inside my brain.I kneel beside him jason. I grab his head into my hands. His eyes flutter open.
“Are you okay,” Jason asked me looking up at me with his dark brown eyes.
“Am I okay? You're the one that I thought was dead,” I tell him. He sits up from the ground and I let go. He grabs my face and kisses me.
“We're okay, Right?”
“Yeah we're alright.”  I say placing my forehead on his. “We’re okay.”
