As Grandpa Rubin strolls into the well known jewelry corner store across the neighborhood deli with a smile, he tells himself that this is the day. This is the day that he will finally be able to purchase the beautiful pearl necklace that his wife had wanted for the past four years. Every morning on his way to work, he would pause, look through the store window, study the necklace and count how many pearls the beauty held. It had 84 pearls. He put in countless amount of work, day and night, black chalk on his face and hands, but to him it made perfect sense. Finally, Rubin held the off white silky necklace in his hands as his hand slid through each pearl, and then gazed at the store owner with a tear running down the right side of his face. "I'll take this one," He said to the store owner. Before the tear hit the surface of the table, the owner of the store grabbed a dusty red velvet gift box from under the counter and placed it near. The store owner, known as Regi to regulars responded, "I know. For the past four years,  I've seen your reflection through the glass admiring that necklace every morning.  I want you to give it to your wife as a gift."
Rubin at ease walked out the store in hand with the red velvet box and glanced at the clear light blue sky mumbling under his breath, thank you.
