Mirror Mirror
I see me. I see a once sad lonely little girl. I see someone who has faced so many things in her seventeen years of life. I see scares from my past written all over my body. I see every night I wanted to give up. I see every time I disappointed someone. I see the depression I faced.
I see a damaged soul, destroyed from so many losses. A damaged soul detroyed from so much sorrow. I see a broken heart, not only from past relationships, but also from years of hatred. Hatred from my family, friends, and myself. I see the hopes of once being apart of a family that isn't filled with hatred, but of love. I see the hopes of a little girl that just wanted to be accepted. I see a little girl that only wants to be loved and beautiful.
I see a fighter. I see a woman that overcame so many challenges. I see a strong, indpendent woman. I see someone who can survive on her own. I see someone who protects herself. I see someone who has learned how important she is. I see a woman who isn't afraid to thrive. I see a women who would rather die than see someone else face the challenges she overcame. I see a woman who is going to make something beautiful in life. I see me.
