Listen to the past
Tessa was still sad to see him still exists in the phone book. Slamming the book closed a tear escaped her eye unexpectedly and she choked out a sob. She told herself all these years that she wouldn’t cry and stay strong but it seems like her tears came out like prisoners waiting to escape. Wanting to relax her mind from dreading the feeling of emptiness and missing him she turned the radio to the maximum volume to beat the thoughts out her head. Speeding through the streets she frantically stopped at the unexpected red light and received the most disgusting stares as her music filled the neighborhood silence. As her favorite song ended she felt a burning sensation to turn the station. Quickly turning the radio she went pass a station that whispered her name in the mist of all the static sounds screeching loudly. She turned back and listened with shock as a familiar masculine voice repeatedly whispered her name. “Okay this is not real” she thought to herself as she tried to shake what she thought was an psychotic experience out of her head. Seconds later just as Tessa was about to turn the station the familiar voice sounded again amongst all the static saying “listen to me Tessa”. She screamed as a white ghostly hand reached out to her. That’s when she finally knew she was losing her mind. Hastily pulling over to the nearest stop she jumped out the car frantically receiving glares as she crazily inspected the car while freaking out. After many minutes she relaxed and thought maybe she needs to see a psychiatrist. While getting back in the car the voice sounded again as the voice reappeared this time with worry in his voice saying “Tessa it’s me please listen to me” She finally built up the courage to say his name after two years she squeaked out his name as silence filled the air. Seconds later the static started to get worse and she turned off the station as fast as her reactions let her. Continuing her journey back to work, the radio which was completely off cut back on without Tessa’s delicate touch. This time she knew it was real. She then accidently pressed hard on her breaks from the anxiety building up in her body while speeding through the streets as her life flashed before her eyes .In that moment she was dragged to the past of the car accident that happened two years ago that still strike her thoughts until this very day. What she saw with her eyes couldn’t compete with her mouth searched to say. She was suddenly in the back of her boyfriend’s car staring at the back of two familiar heads. She then realized she was reliving the moment, but for what reason she didn’t know. As the couple argued a bright flashing light blinded their sight as she screamed but there was no one to hear. Moments later the she was outside the car witnessing herself jump out the moving vehicle while the car drove off with the person she loved onto the tracks of death. As tears streamed down her face she notice a piece of paper thrown out the car speeding before it was hit. Running to the piece of paper a bright light flashed before her eyes as she was back in the present. Noticing her surroundings she saw the train tracks which she called death in front of her .She panicked not knowing what’s happening as she run off. As she ran she noticed a piece of paper the resembled what’s she saw in the vivid flash back. Running over to the piece of paper and picking it up she noticed it was folded with her name on it in the familiar most beautiful cursive writing she ever saw. Tears swelled in her eye as she unfolded the piece of paper in her hands anxious to read the letter. Beginning the letter as the tears feel down her redden cheek letter it read Dear Tessa……………
