“Have a nice life” was the last thing Lion yelled to Peacock.
One word. Drama. At Treebridge school, there's always drama between the animals. One day went by after Lion and Mouse got into a fight with Peacock. Heres how that day went.
“Mrs.Dove, um yes can you please send Peacock down to my office for a minute please” asked Mr.Owl, the principal of Treebridge Middle School. As soon as he asked that, you could tell by the look in his face, something was wrong.
As he walked through the forest to his office, he already knew what was going to happen. He could feel all his nerves growing as his heart beat was getting faster. When he walked into his office, he saw the two familiar faces he expected to see. The faces of Lion and Mouse.
“Nice to see you, peacock. See, Lion and Mouse came to me saying that you and your peers got into a bit of a disagreement here.” Mr.Owl explained, looking back at Lion and Mouse every few seconds, as they noded their heads in agreement.
“Well it wasn't only me...um... it was... well Fox too!” Peacock yelled, even though his best friend Fox had nothing to do with it. Peacock regretted what he said as soon as he said it, he knew that he would get question and would get Fox in trouble.
“And what did Fox have to do with it?” He questioned, looking confused. Peacock didn't know what to say, and as he was fishing for an answer, the bell rang and it was time to go to 5th period.
The periods went slow and all Peacock could think of was a way to tell Fox how he threw him under the bus.
When it was around lunch, Fox realized something was wrong with Peacock. As Fox started to question Peacock, he soon started to realize he had to tell Fox something.
“Well, its actually a...um...funny story.” Peacock explained, smiling and laughing. Fox made a strange face, Peacocks face got as red as a tomato.
“Peacock, what happened?” fox questioned, putting more emphasize on the words “what happened”. Peacock knew he had to tell him, and it was better to tell him now than him finding out somewhere else.
“I got into a fight with Lion and Mouse, and I need you to back me up.” peacock said smiling nervously. “Oh, and also, they called me down to Mr.Owl’s office and...um... I kinda said you might have had something to do with it a little bit.”
Fox looked like he was considering it, until Peacock said something about Mr.Owl’s office.
“No, absolutely not peacock! Are you crazy?! I'm not helping you with your stupid-drama-selfish-filled-fights! I've never been there before because of you and i'm not going there now because you need me to back you up in a fight!” Fox said, angrily. Peacock already knew that Fox wasn't going to want to go with him, but Peacock needed him.
“Please! Ill do anything. I need you Fox” Peacock said with a sad, begging voice. The look on Fox’s face looked angry and sad all at the same time.  Fox walked away, not looking back.
Days went by and Fox and Peacock didnt talk. During lunch, Mr.Owl came down and took Peacock down to her office. It cause a large scene, but everyone already knew what happened. Word has already got around about what happened with Fox and Peacock. When Fox saw his get taken, he has felt as if a weight has been lifted off of his shoulders, because he knew that if he were to back up Peacock, he would be going with him right now.
“Ahhh, it feels good to stay out of drama” Fox thought to himself.
Thats when he found out, Peacock, Lion and Mouse got suspended for 2 weeks, and Fox felt nothing but relieved.

Moral- Friends who throw you under the bus aren't your real friends.
