Anxiety
It felt like I was slipping into a pool of black flame, only to be swallowed whole. My ears no longer heard normally, all they heard was that ringing, that terrible ringing that filled my entire head and wouldn't relent. I was awful. Drowning in that pool of black, suffocating. But in reality you're just sitting. Sitting in a classroom, sitting on a park bench, lying in your own bed. Your vision starts to flit and you feeldizzy, fading in and out of consciousness. Your body is screaming at you, telling you to get help, to go to the hospital, go anywhere but here. Escape. But you can't get yourself to move, can't make your legs do their job; their simple, only job. Why can't they just get me out of here.
