Deep in the hot, muggy jungle a colorful parrot was sitting on a large kapok tree, looking down at the Animal Kingdom.  The parrot was in the lower class, spending days on end sitting in that tree watching the busy  kingdom below him.
One rainy day, an animal of higher class was walking along the path below him, and he flew down a branch to listen in.  When he got a good look it was Kamil the monkey, and her tag along best friend Deeter.  They were from the two richest families in the town, so they might have good gossip, Mr. Parrot thought.
“Mama was talking at home how we might have to evacuate and go to a different kingdom on friday!”  Kamil’s jaw dropped,
“What? Oh my bananas! That is crazy”  Mr. Parrot was looking down on the conversation with that are-you-going-to-talk-more look.  He noticed that Kamil and Deeter were walking away, and he could not hear what they were saying anymore.  The only thing Mr. Parrot knew is that we might have to evacuate the kingdom.  A few days went on and Mr. Parrot still wanted to learn more about what Kamil and Deeter were talking about.  As people of the kingdom walked by Mr. Parrot would repeat,
“Evacuate! Evacuate the kingdom! Evacuate the kingdom on friday!”  As the days went on people of the kingdom started to take notice of what the parrot was saying.  As word went around the kingdom believed that we would be evacuating the kingdom this friday, and everyone was panicking.  The word had gotten around to the King that Mr. Parrott was saying the kingdom would have to evacuate on Friday.  He then brought everyone to the meeting hall.
“Now, now my good animals quiet down!  Word has gotten to me that Mr. Parrot has been saying we will be evacuating on Friday, this is not at all true.  My wife and I had discussed trading with fellow kingdoms on Friday, there is no such need to evacuate.  Mr. Parrot I would like you to please apologize for putting my kingdom into a stage of panic and fear.” The whole crowd of animals looked back at Mr. Parrot waiting for him to fly up to the stage.  Everyone looked up as the bright bird flew above them to the stage, like a high school graduation award.
“Hello everyone, I am Mr. Parrot.  I live in an immense tree on the main pathway.  A few days ago I heard Princess Deeter and her friend Kamil talking about evacuating on Friday.  I did believe it though.  I am sorry to you and everyone I have put in panic.”  Mr. Parrot then flew off stage, and back home to his tree.  Mr. Parrot has now learned that everything people say might not be true.  After all, now Mr. Parrot knows to not listen in on people’s conversations and mind his own business.

Moral: Do not believe everything you hear
