118 Word Stories
Story 1
I saw the sillouete of his body fly by. People stopped and stared in amazement. He flew with such grace and speed. I road my bike in hope to keep up with him, only to find myself racing down allies and cutting through traffic. No cars were moving because everyone was gazing up into the sky, watching the man of steel cut through the skies of Metropolis. I asked the woman standing next to me, drinking her morning coffee, who that was, and all she could spit out was he is her hero. This was my first time seeing Superman, and it was an experience that I will never ever forget, especially because Clark Kent is my neighbor.
Story 2
At the time, I thought a road trip would be a great idea. Leaving the cold of Indiana and driving to the east coast would be warm and eventful. After ten hours of driving I could barely keep my eyes open. The twisted roads made me dizzy, but I had nobody to take over the wheel for me. The sun had set hours ago, and the forests were starting to become eery. I came around a big turn, and everything changed. I never saw her, until I got out of my car and saw her body on the ground, bleeding. My whole body went into shock, and my mind could not process anything. Both our lives were over.
