Zachary
“I just wanted to make sure we were on the same page…” his green eyes that once sparkled at the sight of me, fell down to the ground, his lopsided grin that once was reserved only for me, was far away, and his hands that once intertwined with mine, were balled at his sides. “The same page? We aren’t even in the same library!” My voice quivered with betrayal and pain. And there we sat-in a silence that screamed louder than any words ever could. We are over.
He turned and left, while my eyes watched him go, while my mind that was full of reasons he should stay, and while my mouth held those reasons back. And alone I stood- in a silence that screamed louder than any words ever could. He never loved me.
