It was a cold winter morning. Annabelle was asleep in her bed until the alarm clock rang stating that it was time to get ready for school. When she got up and was getting her belongings to go take a shower, she felt as if someone was watching her through the bedroom balcony. For that reason Annabelle went onto the balcony, but saw no one there. She assumed it was her imagination so she continued her walk to the bathroom. When she was done, she realized everyone had left her like always. Meaning two older brothers, sister, and baby brother. “So much for a loving family,” Annabelle scoffed. After scarfing down half an apple she heard Sophie honk the horn.
As soon as she stepped out she noticed Sophie had another brand new car since she wrecked her last five. According to Sophie, she said it wasn’t her fault, something she’ll always say whenever she wrecked them. “Another car what happened to the last one? Let me guess same thing as always, someone scratched yours up and you taken no fault in it. Correct?” said Annabelle.
“It wasn’t though! I hadn’t taken any part in it, I wasn’t even in the car this time,” Sophia exclaimed. Annabelle simply just shooked her head because of Sophie always being irresponsible.
After fifteen minutes in school, Annabelle realized she didn’t take the pills. As she was on her way to the bathroom she felt like someone was watching her so she looked around, but saw no one, especially since everyone was in class. Little did she know someone was watching her. When she got to the bathroom and was in a bathroom stall, she went searching in her bag for the pills, but didn’t find them. She guessed Sophie took the pills again and flushed them down the toilet which was something she would always do. Annabelle couldn’t go a day without them so she decided to leave school to go get more. She left and took her brothers car since she always kept a spare key with her for cases like this. Within thirty minutes she arrived at the drug house.
Little did she know someone was watching her every move. Following not far behind was Jake. As soon as Jake realized she was going to the house for the third time within the month and mind you it was only the second week of the month, Jake had made a call to the Alpha, Lucas, which wasn’t too happy with her behavior lately. “What this time?” the Alpha said.
“She came again,” Jake replied while pulling the phone away from his ear since he already knew how Lucas was gonna react.
     “She came where again?! That’s it I had enough bring her here now?!” Lucas ordered.
“Are you sure that’s the best idea Alpha?” said Jake.
“I didn’t ask you if it was the best idea! I’m Alpha I say what goes and I said bring her to the house now!” Lucas demanded, while on his way back to the house. As soon as he said that he hung up. Jake on the other hand called for other members from the pack to help him. Not too long after four showed up and as soon as they did Annabelle was coming out the house. She felt like someone was watching her so she went to turn around, but someone put a hand around her mouth and started to drag her to a navy blue van. While three pack members were dragging her to the van Jake started to drive back to her school to drop off her brothers car. While in the van she was knocked out since they hit her on the head kinda hard. By the time they got to the Alpha’s house, Annabelle still hadn’t woke up. Lucas had come out the house and immediately started scolding to the four pack members, Colton, Alex, Steve, and Jason. “What did you guys do to her? I said bring her here, I never said to knock her out!”
“How else you wanted us to bring her you know how she is?” replied Alex while grabbing her from Jason who was in the backseat with Steve.
"You got a point, but still!" said Lucas.
"You just gotta love the mate instincts.", commented Steve.
Four hours later Annabelle woke up to her being locked in a huge room that had white walls, a chandelier, a big bed with blue sheets, and a blue sofa. Oh and not to mention two walk in closets and a bathroom. So basically it was more like a dream master bedroom that looked like it belonged to one of those million dollar mansions.
As soon as she woke up she went towards the door that leads to the rest of the house. As soon as she touched the knob, Steve threw opened the door. "What the hell?! That's the second time already!" yelled Annabelle while on the floor holding her head.
"Sorry I didn't mean to the time. I didn't think you would be awake" said Steve.
"Wait a minute who are you and why am I here?", asked Annabelle.
"I am Steve your protector/watcher,",replied Steve.
"Where am I and why am I here?", asked Annabelle.
"Well I you are in a big fancy room if you couldn't tell.", replied Steve.
"I'm not in the mood for jokes! Just tell why and where!", said Annabelle.
"Well I can't tell you where because if you get a chance to escape you would know where you are. I also can't tell you why because that's Alp… I mean Lucas job," answered Steve.
"Who's this Lucas guy and what does he want with me?", implored Annabelle. At that moment came in Lucas along with a tall blonde girl.
"Look I think he answered enough of your questions for now. Now I believe you’re wondering who we are and what we want with you. Well all I can say is I'm Lucas and this is Lucy," said Lucas while pointing to himself and Lucy.
"What do ya want with me?" asked Annabelle.
"We're not gonna hurt you. We just want to help you," stated Lucy.
"Why? Ya don't know me and I know ya don't just expect me to just trust and believe what ya say.", said Annabelle.
"We just want to help you get better, Anne.", said Lucy.
"Ok I think that's enough questions for the day. How about we take you to the kitchen to eat dinner?", asked Lucas while looking at Annabelle. Annabelle simply just shook her head so she could get out the room to look for a way to escape.
On the way down the stairs, she couldn't help but notice that they all looked like they just walked out a magazine, especially Lucas. She realized he was actually quite cute other than the fact he ordered her to get kidnapped. He was tall with dark brown hair. "How do I know you aren't going to poison my food?", asked Annabelle.
"What would we get out of poisoning your food?", pleaded Steve.
"You have a point, but still", said Annabelle, but no one bothered to answer back.
While on the way still, Lucas couldn't help, but think about how beautiful and stunning Anne was. He was mesmerized by her. "Wow she's stunning, I just wish we didn't meet under these circumstances.", thought Lucas.
Finally they made it to the kitchen where Colton, Alex, and Jason were putting the food on the table. While sitting down they all introduced themselves while devouring the food that Colton cooked along with the help of Lucy. While they were all eating, Annabelle was just sitting there watching them. "Why aren't you eating? You shouldn't starve yourself, that's not going to help you.", stated Lucas.
"I'm just not hungry", said Annabelle. Lucas couldn't help, but feel bad that she wouldn't eat anything. He really  wanted to help her, but didn't know what to do. He just wanted her to love him like he loves her.
Later they took her back to her room. She went to shower and to bed. Over the next two months she wouldn't eat much. She would just stay in the room while Lucas would think of how wrong he was for doing what he did.
"Anne I'm sorry for kidnapping you. I didn't mean to. I wasn't thinking. Can you please just eat something?"asked Lucas.
"I'm not hungry.", said Annabelle.
"You've been saying that for two months Anne. Look how skinny you got.", said Lucas.
"Look I just wanna go home", replied Anne.
Over the next few months they started to get closer even though she tried to escape a couple of times. They would go for a walk in the woods and talk about everything. She even started to eat little by little. She would even say they came to know each other more and more. She also became really good friends with Lucy and the rest of them besides the fact they all kidnapped her and wouldn't let her go.
Within almost a year, Lucas and Annabelle became in love with each other, but was scared to admit it to each other. Little did they know Annabelle would soon have to face a secret that they all kept from her.
It was a sunny day when Annabelle decided to go for a run in the woods. While in the woods she heard a tree branch crack. She looked around, but saw no one. She turned around and saw a guy leaning on a tree. "Hi cutie.", said the guy in a flirting type of way.
"Who are you and what do you want?", asked Anne.
"I'm Evan. I just simply wanted to meet the soon to be new Luna and Alpha's mate.", replied Evan.
"What do you mean new Luna?", asked Anne.
"Oh he didn't tell you? Well my dear love, I'm here to take you.", said Evan. Next thing she knew she was knocked out and taken to a house. " Looks like you’re up.", said Evan, while sitting on the chair across the room.
"What am I doing here? Lucas must be worried about me. Please take me back?", asked Annabelle.
"Sorry darling, but no can't do. Your meant to fall in love with me.", said Evan.
"You're crazy if you think I would fall in love with someone like you. Who would ever?", said Annabelle.
"Funny you say such a thing because your cousin did. Sophie and I were in love with each other. We're mates actually.", replied Evan.
"What are you talking about I don't have a cousin?", asked Annabelle.
"You do. Your parents never mentioned it to you because they didn't want nothing to do with your family.", revealed Evan.
"You're lying", said Anne.
"I figured Lucas would tell you. I mean why wouldn't he? Oh yea maybe because he didn't want you to know he took away your cousin,” said Evan.
"Lucas wouldn't keep anything from me we tell each other everything.", replied Anne.
"Darling you have no idea. There's things he hasn't told you.", stated Evan while walking out the room.
While Annabelle was with Evan Lucas and the others were worried sick about her. Lucas figured she ran away, but wouldn't get far since she went running. He had the pack search for her, but they couldn't trace her scent.
Lucas was sitting at his desk when his phone rang. "Alpha speaking how may I help you?" asked Lucas while the phone was on speaker phone.
"Oh I think you know who it is. You know I have our soon to be precious Luna/your mate," replied Evan.
"Evan how could you? Don't you dare hurt her.", said Lucas.
"Oh how could I? Oh wait that's right I could after you took mine away!", mocked Evan.
"I had no choice she violated the laws.", replied Lucas.
"What law? The law you created to protect your mate? How was that any fare? She only wanted to meet her cousin and have a relationship with her.", divulged Evan.
"Look please just bring Annie back. I'll give you back Sophie.", pleaded Lucas.
"No. I want you to feel pain like I did.", Evan said before hanging up. Little did Evan know Lucas made Colton trace the call.
They arrived at where Evan was with Anne two hours later. Lucas broke down the door and ran inside to the first room he seen. He got lucky because that's where Evan and Anne was. As soon as he walked in he seen Anne had a cut in her arm. He immediately became enraged and turned into wolf form. Anne was scared to death when he seen Lucas turn into a wolf. "What did you do to her?!", demanded Lucas.
"Well look now she knows.", said Evan while pointing at Anne. That's when he looked at Anne to see her scared half to death. He immediately turned back into human form and ran to her while Colton and Jason ran to Evan to hold him. Lucas went to touch Anne, but she pushed him away.
"Annabelle, my love, please don't do this. I meant to tell you, but I didn't know how to. I didn't want you to find out this way.", said Lucas.
"You..you..you kept something like this from me. How could you? I trusted you. I thought we told each other everything. Who are you?", asked Anne.
"Anne please just hear me out. Please just let me explain.", begged Lucas, but he was too late because she was already running towards the door and to his car. Lucky for her Lucas left the keys in the car so she drove off.
An hour later she arrived in her home town. She wanted to go home to where her family was, but she figured she should go to the hospital to get her cut stitched and cleaned so it doesn't get infected.
A week later, she was reunited with her family, but stuck in the hospital still because they wanted to make sure nothing was wrong with her since she was gone for a year. "Hi sweetie, how are you feeling?" asked Annabelle's mom.
"Fine,” replied Anne.
"Darling what's the matter?" said her mom. That's when Anne decided to tell her mom everything. She told her what happened from the day she got kidnapped and how she fell in love with her kidnapper. She also told her mom how her mom and dad treated her. "Sweetie I'm so sorry. Your father and I never meant to hurt you,” said her mom.
" It’s okay mom.", replied Anne.
" So now about this boy Lucas, do you still love him deeply?", asked her mom, Melissa.
" Yes mom, but he kept secrets from me that I still don't get.", confessed Anne.
"Sweetie sometimes people make mistakes. He didn't do it to hurt you, he did it to protect you," said Melissa.
"But mom I'm hurt that he did and do I have a cousin named Sophie?", asked Anne.
"Yes. We kept her a secret because you were adopted. Your biological parents died. They were also too werewolfs. They wanted to protect you so they gave you to us.", admitted Melissa. That's when she told Annabelle that her parents died because they had bad people after them. People were after them because they were the only humans/werewolf’s left. She also told Anne that she was also half human and half werewolf, but hadn't changed yet because she didn't reach her 20th birthday. She also told her that a mate is like your soul mate and that every werewolf has one. The last thing she told Anne was that Lucas has been protecting her from them and that the reason he took away her cousin was because he didn't want Annabelle to find out about any of this yet.
Hours of talking to her mom she decided it was best to get rest. The next day she woke up to find Lucas standing in her room along with her adopted parents. As they all realized she woke up her parents left the room for Lucas and her to talk. "How are you feeling?", asked Lucas.
"Fine I guess.", replied Anne.
"Look Anne I'm sorry. I never meant for this to happen. I wanted to tell you from the start.", said Lucas.
"Look my mom told me everything. I don't forgive you because you still kept it from me, but I understand why you did.", said Anne.
"Does that mean you'll give me a second chance? This time no secrets.", promised Lucas.
"Well that depends. I want you to free my cousin and Evan first.", said Anne.
"I will free your cousin, but how could I free Evan after he kidnapped you?", asked Lucas.
"He did it because you took his mate away. I get why you did, but he didn't do it in a mean way. And besides what difference does it make you kidnapped me, but I still fell in love with you.", said Anne.
"So that means you're in love with me?", replied Lucas in a flirting way.
"Yes dummy. Now could you just kiss me already.", said Anne. After that Lucas went to her and kissed her passionately which is something he wanted to do from the start.
A year later, everyone was at Lucas and Annabelle's wedding thinking about everything that happened. Evan and Sophie became reunited and were already planning on their wedding. So was Lucy and Colton. Her parents and siblings were getting along great. They all even attended her wedding.
They were all sitting at a table thinking about everything that's happened. They all seemed to learn a valuable lesson. Lucas learned that he shouldn't have lied, Sophie learned that she should've respected Lucas' wishes because that's his mate, Evan learned he shouldn't have done what he did, and lastly Annabelle learned that doing drugs and smoking didn't help her and that sometimes people lie to protect you. She also learned that you should forgive, and talk about your problems instead of doing drugs to forget about them. THE END
