The farther backward you can look the farther forward you can see

My mother was always trying to invent something. To help her ease from the terror being in the Dominican Republic. She will be up nights worrying about the time that we didn’t make it to New York City because the president was after us. This all started when my father got involved in an underground to overthrow President Rafael Trujillo. How she didn’t invent thing like rocket or engines that were for men to invent. But my mother didn’t want to worry about that all she cared was to make household items.

She always spent her night all up inventing when the house is settle down. My father was sleeping with an ear incase he hears the spies that he worries about. On her bed are pads of paper and with her pencil she will be sketching which I thought she was only wasting her time just inventing. When my sister and I want go to the movie or the mall she will send us out of her room threatening us if she ends up in Bellevue you’ll be safely sorry. That my mother was a pain because she never let us goes anywhere. That she worried because being in the Dominican Republic and letting us go outside. The reason why she doesn’t let us go in the street is because of the dictator makes parents fear him. See spend nights with her pencil and paper pad drawing when she gives up she read the New York Times. Some nights she will rush in my room in the night and I’m all angry at her for waking me up. The drawings of her invents where all about household items to help out mother. One of the invent is a suitcase that is pull around by a leash which seem like an insane invent that she taught off and showing it to me. But for me it seems useless for her to keep on inventing. For me, I wonder when will she realizes it is a waste her time. To be here it like horrible to hear people in the night screaming. And for my father will be always keeping an eye out in case any of the spies were close to us. Until now my father is constantly checking in with the underground a society that has a plan to overthrow the president from power. So me it was a fight for people to sit me down to read a book. It was fine to live there, but my mother made it hell for me. Doesn’t she know that she failed being my mother for many times? Then one night after giving up she was looking at the New York Times and extreme got surprised and lost all hope because someone beat my mother at the invent of the suitcase that is pull around by a leash. That crush my mother then she started screaming which it will be better for her because she had gone mad. It will be very quiet if she stop yelling and might as well end up in Bellevue like how she threaten us before. And from that time she had change from being just nagging into a monster who needs to invent something before her idea is taken by someone else. And at school how no one could keep me still to read a book. Then one day at school they read my stories which were my piracy and chose me to make a speech at the school assembly. Which I wish that they didn’t chose me to do the speech but my nagging mother said that it is okay. My father reads the newspaper of the horrors and the murders in our country. So I was stuck with the worse thing ever in the world to do. And my parents trying their best to make it seem alright to do the speech. So the week before the assembly I want my mother to tell the school that I’m in a coma. But my mother wouldn’t let me bail out of give that speech which is killing me. So I spend almost all the night trying to think of something but it was useless to me. Until two days before the assembly at a random time I came up with a speech that it is excellent so I yelled for my mom and she came in furious and said “Why are you yelling for me so late in the night.”  Then I showed her my speech and for once she like what I wrote and gave me a look that showed her proud. The day of the assembly I was afraid to say the speech. But when I tried to back out my mother and father told me to say the speech or else something
