Perspective
It was dark. Not black, no, you couldn’t just call its color out. It wasn’t that simple. It wasn’t just one, simple, black but a variety of blacks and grays. It was dark; basking in shadows and possibly Death. It had a boundary however, a sudden drop off into a lighter dark. The man looked closer at the thing, trying to figure it out from his only view. He couldn’t turn the box around. He couldn’t walk around to the other side, he was too proud for that; too stubborn.
It was white. Not white, no you couldn’t just call its color out. It wasn’t that simple. It wasn’t just one, simple white, but a blinding veil of light and vibrancy. It was glowing; swimming in the infinite nothing. It was like a new snowfall, emitting no sound and muffling all around it. The man on the opposite side of the box looked closer. His pride kept his feet plastered to the floor.
The man on the dark side of the box-like things shouted, “Yep, it’s definitely black.” The man on the white side looked up in alarm at the voice and scoffed.
