It was late at night, and Bethany just got home from hanging out with her high school friends. Bethany was not a popular figure in her school, so when she finally got invited to a party there was no question that she was going no matter what. However her parents did not see it that way, she had never been to a party, and they did not see a reason for her to go now. Bethany was furious they even took her keys away. Bethany sat in her room for what felt like an eternity, she looked at the clock it was 2:00am she only hoped that the party was still going on. The party was being held on the other side of town and she had no means of getting there, Bethany finally wound up the courage to go outside her room. Bethany had snuck out of the house before but tonight was different, tonight her dad was still up at two in the morning, he had been a teenager ones and new that she would try to go anyway, he finally got up to go to bed and started walking her way, but by luck her father had forgot something and went back to get it, this was her chance she thought, with her father back turned she ran behind their couch and waited for her father to go to bed. The next thing she knows she is in her car running stop signs trying to make it to the party. When she arrived the party was a alive as ever, she wanted people to like her and to thing she was cool so she drank all the alcohol she could, before long she was out of it. It was late, or early I should say when Bethany realized that she had to go home. Bethany took off and was blasting down the highway almost unable to see where she was going, she flew over the big hill by her house then… Bam!
Bethany woke up several minutes later at the local cemetery, she had completely destroyed several head stones and left large ruts. Bethany pulled out of the cemetery as fast a she could, not wanting to be fined, she saw several people in the distance watching but when she made it to where they were standing they were all gone. The whole time she was asleep she had terrible nightmares of men, women, and children chasing here screaming at the top of their lungs, but Bethany could not outrun the people just as they grabbed her, she jumped out of bed crying, it took her a bit to calm down but when she came to her senses she was greatly relieved. Bethany laid back down her alarm rang for her to get up for school. Bethany only had a couple of hours of sleep that night so all day she was dragging herself around. The bell for her final class rang and she went out into the crowded hall, her eyes began to droop and finally she passed out on the floor. Bethany opened her eyes to find the hallway empty except on man at the end of the hall. The man just stared for a long time and Bethany was afraid to move then finally the man spoke, in a creepy and low voice.
“You have destroyed my grave and that of my many relatives and for that you shall pay!”
“No!” screamed Bethany as she backed up in to a wall that was not there to begin with. He started approaching twenty feet now ten now five now only a foot away, she could hear him breathing she screamed and then woke up, it had just been another silly dream. Bethany was crying with joy she had been terrified and now she was safe in her bed, the sun was coming up and it was Saturday, the whole thing had been a dream she started to run down stairs she flung open the door and her heart sang because there was the man that was in her dream.
The End
