The Ride
My stomach twists while my sister and I wait for the ride. “Five more people ahead of us,” my sister yells. I smell the popcorn, the hot dogs, and the water ride beside us. I feel my eyes burning as I wait. My stomach burns, my head spins, my hands sweat. I cannot think straight. I worry I might fall off the ride and die. I have a sickening feeling—I do not want to get on that stupid new ride. I just want to go home!
