She sat barely able to move. Watching them run back appearing terrified then run towards it happily and curious. She saw two of them with a string and a beautiful bunched up rainbow flying held captive to the string trying to break free and fly away. She saw five of them under a blue mushroom laying on brightly colored strips of oversized gum. Sizzling like bacon on a grill. She watched as a bunch of them floated around like carrots in a boiling pot of water. They bobbled in the blue. Another bunch of them sat on colored rocks in the vast green blue murky substance. The rocks skipped around and occasionally tumbled over and floated to the shore. She heard their screams, of terror and pure fun. She saw two of them sitting in the sand getting hit with the oceans and splashed with its suds and foams. They sat their though calmly as if the water wasn’t freezing them or hurting them. It wasn’t bothering them. They were focused on their little utopia. They decorated it with little knick knacks. The ocean roared and soared into their kingdom. After the sea retreated all that was left was a pile of drooping sand. A mound fit for an ant. That disturbed them and they cried.
