&ldquo; To learn to succeed, you must first learn to fail.&rdquo; <br /> ― Michael Jorda

Our boxing class was going on a field trip to see a famous picture of Mohammed Ali. The picture was worth millions and almost rare to be let in to see it. But our coach new Ali personally. With the picture we get to see, we also get a lecture from Mohammed. Is was a once In a life time opportunity to learn from the best. Our boxing class has only five kids with me included. The boxing gym that the painting was in, was 2 hours from Boston. So we took a coach bus to the gym. On our way there our coach Suddenly stands up and says that this gym might be a little weird and sketchy and to prepare our selfs to do this. He said the gym was creepy but it produced the best boxer. After his little speech he announced that one person from the team was going to get a pass to workout at this exclusive gym. This was a golden ticket. That gym produces the best boxers there ever was like mike Tyson and Mohammed the great. We pull to the gym 3 hours later because our coach had to make an emergency stop at the bathroom that too about an hour. But when we got to the gym, outside of the gym was a girl running around in circles of a bronze statue of Mohammed Ali. She was screaming to let her in. She was crying and hurt because she fell a few while running around the statue. Moments later we see a guard from the top of the gym he shoots a tranquilizer dart at her and she quickly passed out. Trying to forget what we just saw we quickly ran to the entrance of the gym. On the other side of the barricaded door was our tour guide. He showed us to this very sketchy room with this ceiling fan that was turning very slowing and with very sharp blades. The tour guide quickly turns on this very old tv. It was about this gyms history and why it's very exclusive. Before the video ends the door opens and Mohammed comes walking in with a box of clementines. He says this food makes champions. So we all quickly ran to him and grabbed a few each. Mohammed points the direction of the boxing ring that was right outside the room we were in. He says which one of us wants to get into the ring. All of the boxer on our team raises there hands but me. So of course he picks me. The trainer tapes my hands and slides the gloves on by this time I'm shaking and all sweaty because I'm going against the best there ever was. He jumps into the ring with a huge smile knowing that I'm full with terror. The bell rings marking the start of the match. He takes three long steps towards me and takes a swing. I quickly dodge away and instinctually throw a punch. It lands in the middle of his chest. My team mates throw a large cheer. Ali walks towards me and throws another punch this time it lands and knocks the air out of me. So I quickly throw a jab and punch him in the face. I could see his smile go away and turn serious. He comes charging at me and I throw another punch hits him in the jaw. The bell quickly rings again marking the end of the round. The second round starts and you can tell he has something to prove. This time I go towards him and I throw a combination which makes him gasp for air. Knowing that he has a weak left I favor his right. Before I know I step back and all I can see is black. I slowly come back to reality and I'm laying on the floor of the ring. Ali helps me up and says that I had a lot of guts. He throws me a bottle of water and says that I get the pass to workout at the gym for the rest of my career. After the good news my smile could not go away even if Mohammed punch me in the face. On our way out with none of my teammates talking to me we see that girl running around the statue again. On the bus ride home with eating pounds of clementines we each got from the tour. I was just thinking about my future. Be able to work out at the gym and all. Seeing the pass to gym in my name I felt like my life was complete. Knowing that my teammates were jealous I stood up and said I could bring a guest every time I go. They all say how happy they were that I won the pass and I guess that completed my day knowing that they were happy for me. We got back to Boston couple hours later and as soon as I got home i passed out. The next day I woke up to a surprise from Ali, saying we have a long day so eat well.

I really enjoyed this piece because we had to take five words and write this short story
