Horrific Games
I used to be a big fan of Mario, but that all changed one day. Let me tell you the story, so I can get it off my chest.
One day, I downloaded a SNES emulator and thought that the best way to celebrate was to play Mario. The first level was a normal run, and everything was elegant as its supposed to be. However, before jumping on the flag, I noticed that something was written in the castle. In red blood letters the word “SOON” was written on it. At that time, I laughed because I knew that hauntings and ghosts are not real, but I was horribly wrong. The second level was even worse! Some of the enemies were literally killed with spears going through the koopas.I was horrified and didn't know if I could go on.I noticed that the level was taking some time and the timer wouldn't go down, not even a second. I stopped to read a textbox that said, “your fate is decided, and your next,” but that was not the creepiest thing I've seen on that game. Every time I jumped there would be a picture of a person with a black coat and a distorted neck, that stood in front of the princess. The crooked man (as I called him) said, “you have an hour until she dies!” At that point it was midnight, so I was really tired, and I tried to exit the game. As soon as I tried, the man screamed, “YOU THINK I'M PLAYING WITH YOU… turn around.” When I turned my chair around, the poster of Mario, Peach, and Luigi, turned into Peach laying on the floor, dead with Mario looking at me furiously and Luigi crying. The worst part was the title, instead of “Here we go!” it turned into “WHAT HAVE YOU DONE,” and, “ITS ALL YOUR FAULT!” After that, I never played another Mario game.I threw my computer into a lake to make sure no one finds or retrieves the files. Everything went back to normal except one thing,I know the crooked man is still watching me.
