I despised working for Vasco, I mean I am much older than him; I detested the fact that he is loved by everyone, I am Philippe his deputy, I’ve been working here way longer than him, he never gets angry even when I bring my dog to the office. There was a vast party coming up and Vasco was being rewarded for being the freshest CEO in Germany. Vasco thought of himself as the greatest in the world, that is undoubtedly why he is never angry when someone does something, because he’s probably thinking “It’s ok, no one is as worthy as me.” He has such a massive ego, and no matter what you say he will take it as tribute, many people envied him, some like Philippe had thoughts of slaughtering him to take over as CEO.
“Philippe my man, how are the preparations for my award ceremony coming up?” Vasco said in a very honored voice as if he was winning a noble prize.
“Uh yes, it is all coming up together perfectly, you will love it.” Philippe replied in a very unconvincing tone.
Later that day Philippe was on the phone with a hit man.
“Your job is simple, when the award is being presented to Vasco, the lights will turn off and you have about 5 seconds to assassinate him.” Philippe said whispering.
The night of the ceremony as planned the lights went of and there was a loud noise, the crowd started blaring. Gun shot.
