?One day all the animals in the forest were hustling about. They had to get to the water hole before the other animals did. Meanwhile, a hunter, Elmer, was heading into the woods to look for skins to add to his hyde collection. While he was looking for animals he stumbled upon a hill that lead to a small clearing of trees. There were many signs of animals but the forest was barren. Being curious, the hunter looked around the hill. He played with the logs, climbed the trees,and dug in the dirt. There were also many animal burrows. The hunter decided to look around in the holes. He found many nice skins and shells of animals. In one hole, he saw a nice pile of grass that would make a good bed. He settled down into the grass and started to doze.
