Kage’s New Friends

One day Kage the flying squirrel was going to get food for his lovely wife Alyssa. When he was running through the forest there were to kids playing on the ground. The younger brown-haired child said “Hey, there is a squirrel.” The older brother shouted “Let’s throw rocks at it!” They both started to throw rocks at Kage. He was furious about this. He stood on the end of a tree branch screaming “There is no reason you should be throwing rocks at me.” At that point in time one of the rocks hit his arm, which surely hurt him. The children were astounded that a squirrel could talk and ran off. He then had a hard time getting through the forest, so he stopped to rest his wound on a large piece of clay just outside the small forest. He decided that he would spend the night there.
In the morning when he awoke the clay he was sitting upon said deeply “who goes there.” Kage nearly fell off after he heard the sound of its frightening voice. “Who are you?” he said cowardly. “I am Owen,” he said, “I have not had company in a while since I cannot move,” he said as if he were lonely. “Oh, I will be your friend,” Kage quickly responded. They sat there and chatted for the rest of that day. When it was dark out Kage knew it was time to go see Alyssa he said quietly, “Goodbye Owen I

will come visit tomorrow.” Owen responded excitedly, “Alright I will be waiting for you when you’re ready to visit.” That night Kage got yelled at by Alyssa for not bringing food for tomorrow’s meal.











Kage the next ran out into the forest to see his new friend Owen. When Kage got there lowering his head he said, “I can’t come and visit you anymore. I am not getting enough food for Alyssa and I to eat” Owen was deeply upset, but the owner of the house in front of Owen said while running over “ Hey, it’s okay I can get you a new home with lots of food to eat, so that you can keep visiting Owen alright.” Kage and Owen were astounded by his gesture. They both said with excitement in your their voices “Alright, but where?”






The following weekend Ryan’s girlfriend Megan came over. She was a very talented artist, and was willing to help make a home. After a while she had an idea “What if we made a wooden house which would be easy to make and strong enough to last for Kage’s home. Right beside Owen so that they could always be together,” she announced. “I am alright with that.” Owen said’ “I have friends that can get enough wood for a house to make for my new buddy.” Kage looked around and said, “That’s a great idea, but what about Alyssa, “he said. He ran all the way home wondering if he could Alyssa’s approval. “Are you crazy,” she shouted. “But it will be bigger and warmer and food will be provided isn’t that what you wanted?” said Kage trying to convince her. “Yes” she sighed, “let’s tell them tomorrow.”







The next day Kage and Alyssa ran through the forest to get started on their new home. Once they got there they told everybody the news. “Then it’s settled. I will call up Megan to get building right away,” he excitedly said as he reached for his cell phone. They worked all day and almost got the house nearly had the house built. There was a huge hole

bottom filled with food to last a life time.







The afternoon the next day they finished constructing the house. “There,” said Megan. Everybody was so happy about the house except for Alyssa. “What’s wrong?” said Kage. “I like all of your friends and the new house, but it doesn’t feel like home,” She responded. “We can make it feel like home,” Kage said. Ryan butted in “we could take you guys shopping so it would be filled with things you love.” “Well we could try,” she said. After a long day of shopping Alyssa started to like the things they have gotten. When they got back and put in all of their new things she felt right at home. “I love it!” Alyssa thought. “Kage” she said lying “I don’t like this place at all.” “Really,” Kage seemed shocked.





The good friends that Kage had went out and got all the fanciest things they could find to put inside the house. “I still don’t like it,” she remarked. “Ok,” he said sadly. That night Kage overheard Alyssa talking to her fancy mirror “let’s seehow much more money I can get out of Kage’s friends.” Kage was shocked and immediately confronted her “I don’t want you here. You’re just mean to everyone.”









That very next day Kage and Alyssa got a divorce. Kage all of the stuff back to his friends. Kage then was alone but as long as he wasn’t with her he was happy. Owen the ton clay was hiding something that could break their friendship forever. “Hey,” cried Owen “I can get u a place to live.” “Where?” she wondered. “I can morph a whole in my body for you to live” “you can do that? Wouldn’t that hurt you?” “No,” he replied. So for the next couple of day Alyssa stayed inside Owen spying on her ex-husband. “This is wrong,” Owen said. “So, he ditched me,” she said with an angry expression. “He is my friend and I would never turn on my friend like this.” “You are just a dumb rock you can’t do anything about bity any way.” This made Owen

furious. His body temperature started to rise. The clay started melting and formed bricks. Alyssa was now stuck inside Owen. “How, how, how did I do that?” Owen said astounded on the feat that he had done. “Get me out of here!” Alyssa yelled. “Wow, I can move” shouting at the top of his lungs. “This is amazing. I can be like a regular person now.” He was so amazed that he went and told all of his friends. He was so amazed that he forgot that Alyssa was inside of him. “well lets chisel him some arms and legs,” Ryan remarked.






The very next day that’s all they did was making Owen his new body parts. After it was all done they all said to Owen, “your one our best friends. You would never betray us.” Owen then remembered about Alyssa who was stuck inside his stomach. He then felt guilty and didn’t want to tell them. He figured what they didn’t know wouldn’t hurt them.




Nobody knew about it for a couple of weeks
