Mr. Jones Bad Day
Mr. Jones wakes in the morning when he noticed he has been sleeping in the bathtub. He says, “Wow! This is something new!” Mr. Jones gets out the tub and makes his way to his bed. Noticing his alarm clock was on fire; he screamed and got water to calm the fire which broke his alarm clock. Mr. Jones whispers to himself,” today is not my day.” He now goes to brush his teeth when he sees that his front tooth had fallen out. He yelled out loud and quickly called his dentist, but he was on a two week vacation. Very upset, Mr. Jones put on his pants. Suddenly he received a phone call from the bank which exclaimed,” Hello Mr. Jones, we have bad news, we can’t let you work for us anymore; you are fired!” He dropped his pants and ran to work. Appearing in such inappropriate manner gave the manager a bigger reason to fire him. This day wasn’t going well for Mr. Jones. He made his way home and put on some pants. He then took his dog for a walk. The dog, named Noodles, was very excited during the walk and peed on Mr. Jones brand new shoes. Of course, to make things even better, a pretty young lady was strolling by and had witnessed everything. Mr. Jones has had the biggest crush on her. She slowly walked away giggling to herself. Mr. Jones was very ashamed and loudly shouted, “It’s not what it looks like!” Depressed and seeing the sky get darker, he perambulated home. He made delicious lasagna for dinner. Turning away to get a fork, Noodles snatched the whole thing and ran for his life. Now Mr. Jones had nothing to eat and Noodle’s was full. Mr. Jones didn’t want anything else to happen, he went to bed. He got comfy and lied down; only to see his very unattractive mother lying next to him. Very annoyed he yelled at his mother, which made her cry. She walked out the room wearing her night gown. Now Mr. Jones was alone and fell asleep to start one of his normal and boring days.
