Sweet Success
Elmon really likes cakes. They had a pleasing round shape, a wonderful aroma, and vivid colors, and most importantly, they were tasty. Elmon liked all flavors as well since he liked diversity. Elmon enjoys cupcakes as well because there were basically little cakes. Round cakes and square cakes, they were all interesting to Elmon. He decided it would be a good idea to bake cakes to examine. He could also show them to other people. Elmon's first cake was a round lemon cake with raspberries and icing. Elmon then invited some friends over to see his cake. He served them each a slice, and watched their expressions. They all responded with a thank you and a "This cake is tasty", but a few friends laughed and said how "girly" it looked. Even though they didn't know it was his cake, he lost hope in baking more. Instead of eating the rest for desert, he threw it away. However, later that day, one of his friends called back and asked him if he could bake the same cake for a family reunion she was going to. Elmon gladly accepted, and he regained faith and began to make the cake.
In the next week, Elmon's friend called back and asked him if he could make a triple chocolate cake for her cousin's request. She said that her cousin would be willing to pay him. It seemed like a big request, but he was getting paid and he did love baking cakes. Eventually, Elmon was continually selling delicious, delectable cakes, and once he got older, he set up a large company solely for creating cakes.
