Outcast
Outcast
You are an outcast. You need to become popular and there is only one way to do it. You need to assert your dominance and step up. You need to kill Chad Dickinson. Not with a gun or a knife but something even more deadly. There is only one way for you to take down a man like that and it’s to strike at the one thing he loves most. You need to kill him with dance. You need to dance so hard that it will send him into a coma. It’s not going to be easy. Everyone knows he is the best dancer in the whole school. He’s watched High School Musical like twelve times. The man is a dancing freak! A kid once said that the last thing he saw before he went blind was Chad doing the robot. That’s his signature move. Once you challenge him, there is no turning back.
You walk toward Chad, “Hey Chad, me and you! Dance off! Friday night! Be there or be square.” You say with anger.
“Bring it nerd.” He says back. Now that you challenged him, you must now train. The training consists of vigorous game play of dance dance revolution. Once you complete that, then you must choose your signature move. A move so powerful, so overwhelming, so emotional that it could give the power of sight back to that blind kid. After vigorous training, you are ready.
It’s time. The battle is beginning. “You first,” you say to Chad. Chad begins with a simple sway of the hips. He sways back and forth while snapping his fingers to the beat of a jazz song. “Is that all you got!” you say with cockiness. The song switches to “Another One Bites the Dust” by Queen. You throw an invisible lasso around Chad and begin pulling yourself onto the dance floor. Chad’s mouths drops in astonishment. He can’t believe this is happening. Before you can continue, he begins to break dance, spinning himself on his head like a top. You start to sweat and your knees begin to wobble.
“What’s wrong? Cat got your dance moves?” Chad says with a smirk.
“It isn’t over yet. Please give me the strength I need, Michael Jackson,” you whisper to yourself. You begin to moon walk across the dance floor followed by the thriller. The crowd gasps in amazement. Chad’s face turns a bright red and signals the DJ to play his song. A techno song comes on. He makes his way to the middle of the dance floor and does the robot.
The crowd shields their eyes so they don’t become blind. You stand your ground and keep your eyes open the entire time.
“Impossible! How come you’re not blind?” Chad says in amazement.
“Because, I am the chosen one.” You say while beginning your signature dance move. The dance move you have been working so hard to perfect. You begin to dance the sprinkler. The crowd cries at the beauty of your amazing dance skills. The blind kids are given back their sight. Chad can’t handle your signature dance and his head bursts completely open. Blood splatters on your face while you smile. For in that moment, the world is at peace. The crowd cheers in excitement. A tear begins to form and runs down your cheek. You’ve done it. You killed Chad Dickinson. You are no longer an outcast.
