Stuck Like Ewww.
Walking down the hall I hear the sudden silence. I hear the spit being passed back and forth. I hear the smack of the lips. I look up from my phone and see I’ve drifted into make out ally. I can taste all the germs being swapped from mouth to mouth. I look around to see all the couples completely stuck together. My friends and I avoid this hallway as much as we possibly can, who am I kidding, everyone avoids this hallway as much as they can. As I look around the hall my eyes do a double take on a couple way back in the corner.
“Kendal, is that you?!” I said in disgust.
I see one of my best friends heads peak out around a guy I had never seen before in my life.
“No,” she said hesitantly.
I rushed over to her to grab her arm and remove her from this reputation ruining hallway. I could feel our reputations going down the drain. She yelled back at the mystery guy and told him she would see him soon. However, my thoughts were completely different. Her chances of seeing him again were as slim as if she had spilled an entire bottle of salt.
“What the heck?” I screamed at her as soon as we were in the clear, I could smell the over sprayed cologne from the guy she was attached to.
“I love him Brooke! He is so amazing and makes me so happy!” She responded.
“I’ve never seen him before in my life, are you dumb?” I’ll be honest she was never the smartest of the bunch. She’s actually ridiculously stupid. I would say she’s probably as dumb as a blonde on steroids.
“Look look look! I Wrote him a letter!,” she says as she pulls out a piece of paper, “Absolutely no one knows me better, no one can make me feel so good--”
“Okay I get it,” I interrupted. “You love him as much as a fat kid loves pie, you can be done.” Oh but don’t worry, that didn’t stop her.
“How did we stay so long together? When everybody, everybody said we never would! There you go making my heart beat again! There you go pulling me right back in! I’m never letting you go! I’m stuck on you!” She screams for the whole world to hear. “I’m just not sure how to finish it.”
“Ha! You might as well finish it saying that you’re stuck like glue considering what I just saw in the corner over there,” I joked.
“Oh my gosh!! That’s so perfect! Thanks so much Brooke!” She said with a huge smile on her face.
The look on my face was probably as mean as a teenage girl watching someone flirt with her crush. How dumb could she be?
“Let me guess,” I said, “you probably never fight either huh? Maybe because you just met am
right?!”
“Yes! Omg! He gives me that, “I’m sorry baby let’s make up” look!” she said, “it’s like you know him already!”
What is she talking about?! She met this guy at most five minutes ago! She knows him as well as I know Justin Bieber!
“He does that thing that makes me laugh! And just like that,” she started ranting about him again.
“Let me guess! He pulled you right back in right?!” I shouted, very frustrated with her.
“Yes! Brooke, I’m so glad you understand where I’m coming from! It’s as if you were with me all day!” she said in excitement.
I honestly didn’t know what to do anymore. I felt like I had lost all hope in bringing her back to planet Earth. I had lost one of my friends to make out alley. I was in as much shock as someone who just won a million dollars. I walked away and watched her run back to her love. The glue brought her right back to where she would forever be stuck.
