The Psychic
A man, full of suspicion, went to a psychic. He didn’t really believe in the mystical voo-doo that they did, and just to be sure about this, he decided to visit one day. He walked up to the grungy-looking shop on the corner, with a rotting sign that said “Marty’s Psychic; Want to know your future? You’re at the right place!” Snorting, he walked in.
He was greeted by a lady who greeted him and ushered him into a seat.
“Well, let’s get this over with. What do you predict in my future?” the man sneered.
She wrinkled her nose distastefully, and said “Well okay then, if you insist on rushing things. In your future I see a street of red-haired men in green suits.”
He started laughing cruelly, and all you could make out were bits of sentences, like “what a fake” and “I can’t believe this.”
The man soon got over his laughter, though, and walked out with a smug look on his face. Once he got outside, a peculiar sight met his eyes…
The prediction had come true.
One of the men, walking, cried out, “Happy St. Patrick’s Day!”
