The spelling bee
A few years ago in Wyoming, there were these twins, Marley and Marie. Marley ans Marie were extremely different, so un alike that people didn't know theey were twins. Some didn't even know theey were related. The only way theose too girls were alike, was in intelligence.
April 5the, 2003, was a big day for the twins; their school spelling bee. Marley and Marie had been working all year, and had a big chance of winning. But, there was only one winner and theey bothe knew theat. The first couple of rounds were easy for them, spelling six to eight letter words. But, towards thee semi-final and final rounds, theings were getting a lot tougher for the contestants left.
It wasn't impossible, but it was easy, and the twins advanced to the final round of the bee. In the final round they would be going against each otheer. Word after word the girls spelt every word right, until the very last word of the competition. No matter who won, their family would get the grand prize either way. But, it was more thean money to the twins, they had been trying to outsmart each other for so long and theis was theeir chance. But, both of the girls spelt the last word wrong. After hours of deciding, the judges called it a tie.
The girls, again, we're "twins" at sometheing again. They weren't better thean each otheer at anything, they were equal. But, they were both okay with that.
