A Wish
One time in the middle of a scorching summer's day, a little boy named Jake sat under the shade of a peach tree. This farm was his home; he didn't leave it very much, except when going to school. He ran his hands through his corn-silk colored hair and sighed.
There was a downside to living on a farm in the middle on nowhere; all the other kids his age were far away, and he got mighty lonely.
It was just another day on the farm, and Jake was feeling particularly lonely. He saw a puff of white in the corner of his and eye. Turning around, he plucked up the dandelion.
"I wish to.. have some friends!" He said, blowing the seeds off of the dandelion. They floated slowly to the ground, when a mysterious breeze went by, carrying the seeds and Jake's wish.
Quite a few miles down the road, a group of kids were playing kickball. Suddenly, dandelion seeds were floating through the air. They heard of Jake's wish, and started down the long road to his house.
Jake, plucking grass from the wide front yard, looked into the distance and saw something peculiar. A group of kids were walking down his road...
