The Dream
I open my eyes, and watch the stars move across the sky. Im floating in a pond, one with flesh eating sharks and poisonous fish. I am unharmed by them. They keep their distance from me, as if I am the one to be feared. I swim towards the waters edge and get out, completely dry. I walk through the surrounding trees, by moon light. I have perfect vision, I can see everything! I look back to the pond, and find the eyes of the fish glowing bright green. I walk back to the pond and see my own reflection. What I see is not what I expect, a siren, with flawless white skin and the sleekest black hair. The eyes, bolder than her look, were blood red, as they glowed like my swimming companions. Im not scared of what has happened to me, I embrace it. Not everyday could I wake and find myself in a place where everything is changed and I am what I am. There is no hiding here. I close my eyes and listen to the calming voices that fill the air. There is one that stirs my curiosity. A faint whimpering, one sound that made me aware of what my body wanted to do. I felt no wrong so I let myself follow that whimper to a tree, not far from the pond. To that tree, was tied a boy. One maybe of 18, but no more, he was crying, begging me to release him. I felt no pity for this child, and was not about to let him run free in my home. I knelt down beside him, and snapped the rope off with one hand. He hugged me, crying his thanks for his release. I drew him into me as his sobs got longer and longer. I resisted so long, but there was no chance for this boy, it was his fate to die in my arms. So I ripped open his neck with my teeth, as I held him down with my arms over his. There was no escape from me now. I gorged off of his blood as he chokingly tried to scream for help. The life left his body quickly so there was no time to waste. I carried him, as if he was a baby, back to the pond, which was now the color of blood. I stepped into the pond, until the water reached my waist. The fish were circling us now, fully aware of what was to happen. I laid him down on the fish, and they carried him to the middle of the water. The moon was now its highest and the fish grew evermore excited. They swam around him until a small whirlpool was made. Then the fish started biting him, letting the rest of him be drained out. The power of the moon pushed him back to me. It was my turn to give. I placed my hands over his forehead and chest, as my own energy filled his body. I waited, and waited, until I heard him breathe. I looked up towards the moon as if she was my master, and thanked her for the power she had given me. I looked back down at the boy and saw red eyes stare back at me. Mason.
