August 2022 Fiction Contest: Tiger Problems

You know what’s hard? Talking to people. You know what’s even harder? Talking to people with a one year-old cub on your back, weighing 170 pounds. Even with Amber’s back paws on the ground, describing it as “hard,” is still an understatement. All that time at the gym is definitely paying off.
Every few days, someone would walk up, and ask a question that they insisted only I could answer. At that point, three things could happen. Amber might paw me or jump on my back. Or I have to talk to them. *shudder* I think I prefer the first option.

Even though I only found out about the challenge a week and a half before it closed, I enjoyed the challenge. I've often been known for writing pieces way longer than what is asked for, so it was definitely different for me to write something that was only 101 words long!
