Remembering the Ethnic Culture from the North
Philippines, the country where I live, an idyllic and peaceful nation. Truly, the archipelago may seem small but its culture is bigger than what others think of. Influenced by the Spanish colonization, with a dash of Chinese, Japanese and American culture, the Philippine culture is known for being diverse and well-preserved. Also, the ancestors from the North, popularly known as the Ifugaos, still practice the culture and traditions of our generations, truly preserved and still is expanding. With this art that I've made, I'm able to showcase the colorful culture of the Ifugaos from Mt.Province, and some infusions of pop Philippine culture.
