Pink lilly
A beautiful Sunday morning sees oh so perfect.
The sweet morning dew on the green grass, the birds singing in harmony, the sun beaming over the edge of the lake.
In the middle of the lake there is an old man.
An old man sitting peacefully in a little blue boat surrounded by a sea of beautiful white water Lilly’s.
The old man just sat there smiling at the single Pink water Lilly, all he could think about was Lilly.
Lilly was his best friend, his soul mate, his wife, and his everything.
Just a few months before Lilly had passed away all she could talk about was that single Pink water Lilly in the lake and how she loved it oh so much.
Then every Sunday morning at exactly 8 A.M. the old man would paddle out to the lake where the water Lilly’s lived. The old man would paddle out rain or shine.
The old man passed away that winter.
Then in the spring when the water Lilly’s were blooming there was not just one Pink water Lilly but two bright Pink water Lilly’s in the lake.
