The Diary of Jane, Part I: A Growing Despair
Summary: Blaine Compell has never been superstitious, nor has he ever lived outside his normal teen life with his girlfriend Karen or his best friend Jake. He's living pretty good, with a car, a beautiful girl, a band, and talents under his belt. High school seems like it's going to be a cinch, then on to college.
Then that all changes when he gets a new neighbor on the block, a young, alluring girl by the name of Jane Duress. In the process of him giving them a welcome to their neighborhood, he finds a very interesting book of Jane's.
And that is when the chains start wrapping around him, ever tighter and tighter...
