We all knew what happen that night Princess Vasilisa and Rose were caught, and sent back to St. Vladimir’s Academy, a place they ran away from two years previous. This was also the first time Rose met Dimitri, as it was his team that caught them. Yet how was it like from Dimitri’s point of view? In this short story we get a look on Dimitri’s side of things as his team advance on Rose and the Princess.

Richelle Mead knows how to keep a story going. This short story is really short as it is only fifteen hundred words, and can be found online by searching the title. Yet the story was filled with adventure as we got to see from an outsider on how Rose and the Princess work (not knowing about their connection). We also got to see how Dimitri reacted to seeing Rose, even though at this point she has zero interest in him. A great short story, one all Vampire Academy fans should read!
