We met at the wrong time. I was confused and I still loved him. How could I make you number one when he still had a hold on me? I liked you, I promise I did. I really would have loved to be with you. The timing was not right though. I lead you on and i'm sorry. You didn't deserve it. No one deserves to be treated the way I treated you. I made you believe you had a chance, but in the end I hurt you. I'm truly sorry. Forgive me? I understand if you don't. Why would you?

Gosh, I felt this on a whole other level. At a younger age, I was sexually assulted and as a got older I though I was ready to be in a relationship. Then I realized I just wanted a protector. The love was there but my heart wasn't ready when someone actually cared.
