Learn, Change, Act MAG
I feel likebeer-battered halibut
but instead of a sweet batter
I'm dipped inbitter,
gritty,
distasteful mud,
mixed with the ungodly aroma
of bodyodor and decaying bodies.
My uniform was green
now it's dark brown,
fromthe over-baked blood
that has been cooked into the fabric.
Every day moreand more of us fall,
but we hope that
we're not just another coffinengulfed
in the ever-so-famous
red,
white,
and blue
learn from oursacrifices
make changes upon them
and avoid this nonsense
we refer toas war.
